We would like to invite anyone who is interested in playing netball to join the San Diego United Netball Club. We currently have 20 active members. We are a small club but growing fast as this fantastic sport is attracting new players on a weekly basis. Our team attracts players of all play levels, some who have played netball before and others who have not played but are interested in keeping fit and finding out what an excellent sport netball is.
We are all friendly and have become good friends as well as team mates, building a great team spirit as well as having a good excuse to socialize (not that we need an excuse)!
Come and play with us at practice to see if you enjoy our workout and game. If you decide to become part of our club, you can become a member of the San Diego United Netball Team.
PLAY REQUIREMENTS
Please wear comfortable workout clothes and be ready to warm up. Please leave all jewelry at home. This is for your safety as well as others. Please be sure to drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen when the sun is shining.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
You are welcome to participate in two practices as our guest to see if you are interested in joining our club. If you do decide to join, the membership fee is currently $90 per annum including insurance. Membership is pro-rated depending on when during our season you decide to join. The start off the season is September 1.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
We invite players to participate in our weekly practices and social weekend practice sessions who wish to play on a social level only. Participation can be for fully paid members or members who wish to pay a $3 social fee per session. Social players who wish to pay the weekly session fee will not be able to participate in competition tournaments. However, a player's status can be upgraded to an annual membership at any time in order to quality for tournament participation.
UNIFORMS
Our uniforms cost $110 which includes a dry-fit play t-shirt, skort (skirt with built in shorts) and tracksuit top.

TOURNAMENTS & EVENTS
We compete in California and in national tournaments (for those players on the team who like to compete and can travel to other venues). Yes, we are not alone... There are fellow teams in the Los Angeles area (Thousand Oaks and Santa Monica), San Francisco, Oregon, Las Vegas, not to mention our Canadian neighbors and a number of teams on the East Coast of America. There are also teams in Florida and Texas and other states.
Even though it is tons of fun, you do not have to compete to be a member of our club.

SOCIALIZING
We love to socialize together and our team members have become really good friends. We plan many events throughout the year in addition to our netball schedule, from pub nights to holiday card and earring making classes, all informal with family and friends welcome.
